I’m running for Congress because it’s time someone in Washington fought for folks like us, the hard-working patriots tired of being left behind.
— Conrad Cable

Meet Conrad

Conrad is a first-generation farmer from north Louisiana who knows what it means to work hard and live by his word.

He’s running for Congress to fight for living wages, protect Medicare and Medicaid, and make sure no family in our state goes hungry.

Conrad can’t be bought by lobbyists or billionaires. He’ll go to Washington to stand up for working people and root out corruption.

  • Every worker deserves dignity.

That starts with a fair paycheck.

I’ll fight to raise the federal minimum wage.
I’ll fight to raise salaries for federal workers.

And I’ll fight to raise pay for the men and women in uniform.

I’ll fight for more union memberships.

When workers earn more, families thrive.
When families thrive, communities grow stronger.

  • We’re called to heal the sick.
    Not bankrupt them.

Politicians like Mike Johnson gutted Medicaid.
    They blocked Medicare expansion.
And they handed our healthcare to profiteers.

I’ll fight for Medicare for All.
I’ll reverse the cuts from the “Big Beautiful Bill.”
And I’ll make sure every person — rural or urban, rich or poor — can get the care they need.

Because your dignity doesn’t come from a credit score.
    It comes from your soul.

  • Every family deserves healthy food.

But rural Louisiana is full of Dollar Generals.
And empty of fresh grocery stores.

Families on SNAP are forced to buy overpriced, unhealthy food.
Because corporations don’t see profit in serving us.

    My plan is simple.
    USDA-operated grocery stores.
    Fresh, local food.
Integrated with SNAP, WIC, and EBT.

    Good for families.
    Good for farmers.
    Good for Louisiana.

  • In Louisiana, storms aren’t rare.
    They’re routine.

    Hurricanes. Floods. Tornadoes.
    Every year, families lose everything.

And every year, private insurers roll out.
    Premiums skyrocket.
    Coverage vanishes.

I’m fighting for a National Disaster Insurance Program.

Insurance that protects people, not just property.
    Insurance that’s affordable.
    Insurance that’s reliable.
Insurance that’s there when the storm hits — and after.

Because every family deserves the chance to rebuild.
